Mark your calendars and join us for Greenland’s 300th celebration Sept. 11 – 19!

The Anniversary Committee has planned a variety of tentative events from Saturday, Sept. 11 to Sunday, Sept. 19, according to the Greenland Historical Society.

Outdoor events for children and adults alike are being planned by the town Recreation Department. Trolley car rides will be given to tours presented by the Historical Society, people will have the option of walking to notable places in town on self-guided tours with guiding papers from the Historical Society.

Saturday, September 11
3:00-4:00 p.m. Future of former Sunset Farm. Program & talk by NHFG & NH Historical Division.
4:30-5:00 p.m. Welcome to Greenland Old Home Days! At the Bandstand.
5:00-7:00 p.m. Don Campbell Band.

Sunday, September 12
1:00-2:00 p.m. Tours of Community Congregational Church: The parish gathered in 1706.
3:00-7:00 p.m. “A Taste of Italian Wine & Seacoast Art” held at Portsmouth Country Club.

Wednesday, September 15
5:00-7:00 “Greenland’s History and Parish” Distinguished Panel & Pizza. Pastor Mark Brockmeier, organizer.

Friday, September 17
6:00-8:00 “300 Years in Music” Piano recital by Samuel Partyka, Music Director, CCCG.

Saturday, September 18
10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon &
1:30-4:00 p.m. Seacoast Trolley Tours.
5:00-7:00 p.m. “Wine and Cheese Garden Party & Silent Auction” at Weeks Brick House, 1 Weeks Avenue.

Sunday, September 19–All events from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
